Design work

Three case studies from my work at Maersk on the systems that run global procurement. Each one covers the problem, the design decisions, and the trade-offs.

How I work

Design engineer

AI tooling has changed what one designer can build. I design and ship in code, using AI to move from idea to working application with speed, precision, and a tight feedback loop. This results in virtually no gap between design and engineering—fewer handoffs, faster iteration, and more ability to focus on craft.

Player-coach

In every senior role over the past several years, I’ve managed or mentored other designers in their work: reviewing, pairing, and making decisions alongside the team. What I value most is helping someone become the designer they didn’t know they could be and then getting out of their way.

Product strategist

The decisions that matter most are about what to build now, why it matters, and what can wait. I work where product thinking meets design craft: deciding what’s worth building, how it supports the business, and how it all fits together.
